After moving to Idaho Falls, Beci attended ISU and earned her Idaho teaching certificate. She has taught English, speech and drama for 10 years and is currently the speech and drama teacher at Skyline High School.

Beci’s acting credits include Three Sisters (Irina), Arms and the Man (Raina), Burn This (Anna), Marat/Sade (inmate), Quilters (ensemble), Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit), The Foreigner (Katherine), Death and the Maiden (Paulina), Sylvia (Sylvia), Of Mice and Men (Curly’s Wife), Steel Magnolias (Truvy and Annelle), and many more. Beci is proud of her accomplishments in theatre and with ARTI, but her number one role is as a mother and wife. She has two boys, Jackson (17) and Henry (15) Loomis, both attend Hillcrest High School in Ammon and are actively involved in sports (baseball and tennis) and both boys have appeared in ARTI productions! She also has 2 adult stepchildren, Tyler Anne and Zachary. Her husband, Jim, is also an ARTI board member. Beci and Jim met while she was directing Camelot and they have been married for almost 13 years. Together they enjoy being parents, Minnesota Viking’s football, movies, skiing, and dedicating time to ARTI, whether working on the building, producing, being board members, acting together (or without each other), and directing.
